Sr. Systems Analyst

Department:  IT Applications Development & Support

Location:  St. Louis, MO

Participate in business application development through entire life cycle, analyzing, designing, programming, testing, implementing, and supporting.  Coordinate design and implementation of evolving technical architecture using vendor supplied, existing or proposed applications.  Provide technical and /or business application consultation to customers and team members in the area of functionality, architecture, operating systems, and databases for complex application systems.  Analyze user requirements, develop functional specifications and perform gap analysis of existing information systems.  Identify and resolve problems in order to provide continuous business operations.  Test, debug, and implement system solutions.  Consult with users in the development of test data and review results with users.  Develop and maintain documentation of technical architecture required to provide quality application development and support, protection of data assets and support business resumption planning.  Develop and maintain effective customer relationships.  Provide training and guidance to team members and

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5- 8 years experience in programming/systems analysis.
  • Proven experience with structured and object-oriented programming, relational database design, operating systems, networking concepts, and systems integration.
  • Excellent knowledge in .Net development tools specifically C# and VB.Net.
  • ASP.Net in Sharepoint 2007 programming knowledge.
  • Experience with web development.
  • Ability to translate business needs and problems into systems design and technical solutions.
  • Competent project management skills.
  • Broad business and finance related knowledge.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Self motivated with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
